Reading Time Calculator & Daily Reading Planner

Estimate how long it will take to finish your book and how many pages to read each day. Free to use, with no account required.

10h 0m remaining · 30 reading days

300 pages left. At this pace, 20 minutes gives you about 10 pages per day.

How the estimate works

Remaining reading time = (total pages − pages already read) ÷ pages per hour. Reading days = remaining minutes ÷ your daily reading time, rounded up. The default example is 300 pages at 30 pages an hour: 10 hours total, or 30 days at 20 minutes a day.

The default pace is an example, not a standard you should meet. Time a short session in your actual book to find your pace. Dense text, illustrations, page size, and rereading change the result. This is a planning estimate, not a deadline.

Turn the estimate into a reading habit

Choose a daily slot, leave some spare days, and adjust after your first few sessions. The calculator works in this browser; its inputs are not submitted to a server.
